Elie Wiesel is a figure that most should look up to. A man that survived the Holocaust of World War II. Wiesel wrote a book called "Night", that talks about what he had to experience and the destruction and hate he was unfortunate enough to see.

Holocaust

The term Holocaust means to me that it is a tragic event that occurs. When I think of the word Holocaust I first think of World War II and the murdering of close to 6 million jews. I also think of just a large group of individuals dying against their will, whether it be a natural accurance or a mass murder as suggest in cults. The word Holocaust means much more than what the average person believes. Holocaust still live on today in the modern world, depending what you believe is considered a Holocaust. Many people see 9/11 and the Sunami as a modern day Holocaust event.
