The kite runner

Living in Kabul, which is located in the middle eastern part of the world. Amir and Hassan were best friends, who spent their whold childhood together. Amir being a young author, told stories he had made up to Hassan. They also entered a kite flying competition together and won. Amir also watch in horror as his childhood friend got raped in the alley. After all he has been through and seen he still tries to make the best out of what he has.

Random-Pioneer Football

The tradition of the Batesville pioneers has thrived throughout the years with many winning seasons along the way. During the 2009 season the pioneers suffered some hardships, ending the season with a 5-4-1 record. This was the first time in years that we did not make the playoffs. Heart broken but still willing the juniors are stepping it up in the offseason. With almost the whole defense returning, and most of the offense returning, the pioneers are looking foward to a dominating season that will put the schools tradition back on track.

civil war

Before my sister went off to college, we would sometimes have a civil war amongst each other. Mostly verbal, but sometimes physical about whos phone charger was in the kitchen or who got to take a shower next. The physical fights were hard blows like a jack hammer at construction sight or a boxing with match with Mike Tyson.

crucible

The crucible is a story of people in the early town of Salem where witch craft is being investigated and a certain person by the name of John Proctor and his wife Elizabeth have been accused of it. They try to make a stand as people in their own community have already been hung.

bullying

I think bullying is wrong, even though you may the bigger, stronger person that's no reason to pick on a smaller, weaker person. The bullying needs to put themselves in their shoes and see how unfair it is to be the weaker person.

reason for the seasons

1. family-It's always good to spend the holidays with your family because it may be the only time you are close to them.
2. freinds-freinds are always good to have around.
3. presents- my favorite present is money because i can buy what i really want instead of being dependent on other people.
4. food- i love holiday food because it helps me gain weight.
5. hunting- deer season is always a plus during the holidays
6. new clothes-i love recieving new clothes so i can look good for the girls.
7. snow- i like the snow because it helps us get out of school and its fun to drive in.
8. hot chocolate- its warm and it taste great.
9. days out of school- its always fun to get out of school and go mess around with your buddys.
10. happiness- makes you feel better about yourself and others.

Speak

The book speak was about a young girl who just got to high school and is finding out faster than she wanted that it's not what she thought it would be. The girl (Melinda) was at a party and was raped by a boy who goes to her school, as she tries to talk about her problem and get through high school.
